Theme 2025-2026

(see video below)

Hello everyone and Welcome back! My name is Bryson Steel and I am the student body president this year. I am so excited to be speaking to you guys and so excited to spend this year with you. The theme for this school year is SC All in. And I wanted to talk to you a little bit about what that means and how it can benefit you. This summer I had the opportunity to go to Bolivia for 2 and a half weeks for a humanitarian trip. Being gone for that long brought it challenges.

I missed my family, my friends, sleep because we would wake up early every morning, and American food. While these were very hard trials these 17 days were the best 17 days I could have asked for. Being All in really helped me get through some of these challenges. Being All in for the kids that we were serving really helped. Our project was building a classroom for these kids in Bolivia. These kids didn’t have enough classrooms to allow them to go to high school. Knowing that we were helping these amazing kids who would support us everyday helped me be able to show up and work hard everyday.

It also helped to be All in for my group that was on this trip with me. Being all in for them helped the group want to go and work hard each day. It made this hard labor much more fun because you were doing it in a fun way with people you like being around!

This trip is very similar to the school year. There are going to be challenges this year. Whether that’s having a lot of homework, being sick and having to miss some days, or having a big test. There will always be trials like that, but being ALL IN this year can help you get through it. Like being ALL IN for the kids in Bolivia being ALL IN in school is Being ALL IN for learning.

Remembering the purpose can help us get through the challenges of Homework or having to study for a tough test. This can give the much needed motivation we need to keep going with our school work.

This also means showing up. Whether that means joining a club or a team and showing up to that or showing up to class. Being all in for learning means you are showing up doing your best trying to learn.

Whether that is school or anything else you are doing throughout this year. Things will get hard in tests and homework or the club or team you are involved in but showing up will help you get through those things easier.  Another way to be ALL IN  this year is being all in for our fellow students.

This means supporting each other. This means going to things. Like going to the football game, basketball game, band concert, school play, or tennis match. Go watch and support your fellow students. Go and sit by someone new in class that is sitting by themselves. Going to the dances and the activities that we have with people. This will help these students so much but it won’t just help them it will also help you as well. Going to these events you will see how much fun it is to be with your friends and watching these games or going to dance. I know you will enjoy it and have fun! This can help relieve all of the stress that comes during the year.

This helps keep you fresh and keeps you going throughout the school year. The last thing I want to talk about is the exec council. We are here for you guys and we are all in to help you guys this year. If you need anything or just need to talk to someone we are all willing to help. We are so excited for this year and can’t wait for all the fun we will have this year. Thank you for all the support. Go Warriors!

Good morning snow canyon!

I hope you have all been enjoying the assembly so far. A huge shoutout to our amazing Student Council for pulling off this incredible assembly! Their efforts don’t go unnoticed. Thank you guys for creating this wonderful experience..

they’re seriously here to make our school life epic. Whether you’re dealing with problems, got ideas for cool stuff, or just need someone to talk to, these guys are on it. They’re the ones planning those fun events, standing up for what we need, and basically making our voices heard. So if you ever spot them around campus, know that they’re like our go-to crew for making our time here way more awesome.

And another huge shout out to our techies. They are behind the scenes for this whole thing

I am Caden Morris and I am your student body president. I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you as a student body and with our amazing admin. Stepping into the role as a student body president is both hard and exhilarating, but I am both prepared and determined to put in the effort to make this school year unforgettable.

With the role of student body president I have been given the opportunity to introduce and talk about our year’s theme, Warrior 24/7.

I believe that snow canyon sits on top when compared to the other schools. Well obviously, we’re on top because you have me as your student body president. We also have the most spirit, the most astounding administration and faculty that care about our students, a student body that pushes each other inside and out of school. We show that we are warriors by living up to these standards. Every person represents our school and our actions will impact how people view our school. To be a warrior 24/7 you are putting in effort and holding yourself to a higher standard to be an outstanding person in our community. This empowering theme ignites the fire within each of us to face life’s challenges with unwavering courage and determination, all day, every day. Just like a warrior embraces strength, resilience, and a never-give-up attitude, we’re called to approach our studies, relationships, and personal growth with the same fearless spirit.

Our theme 24/7 challenges each of us to consistently embody the qualities we wish to see in the world, not just within the confines of our school, but every moment of our lives. I challenge you all to be a warrior 24 hours 7 days a week.  Now let’s have the best year yet. Let us make our siblings and parents jealous of our high school experience. Warriors, let’s ride.

New Head Basketball Coach

New Head basketball coach for the Warriors – Ryan Ball

Ryan Ball

Ryan grew up in Meridian, Idaho where he played, coached, refed, and studied basketball all the way through high school.  After high school, he went on a 2-year LDS mission to India and the Philippines.  Upon returning from his mission, he attended BYU where he got his undergrad degree in Statistics while also doing some sports analytics for the BYU Men’s Basketball team.  He then began his professional career in Data and Analytics and also completed his graduate degree through Grand Canyon University in Business Analytics.  He continues to work in the field of data as his day job.

Ryan began coaching his senior season after his playing career finished.  He coached his high school’s freshman AAU team and loved it so much he had to continue coaching after his mission.  He started coaching in the club scene for a club that his good friend ran.  He then discovered who would be his mentor, Anita Rowland, at Utah Premier under the Colorado Premier Club run at the time by Keith Van Horn.  After just one summer of coaching two high school age teams for Utah Premier, he was asked to become the Director of the Boys Basketball program for Utah Premier, and he did that for two years coaching multiple teams ages 11-18.  In 2022-23, Ryan joined the Stansbury High School Boys’ Basketball staff in a player development and assistant coaching role.

He now is very proud to be a Warrior!

Please join us in welcoming Ryan, his wife Cheyenne, and his son, Trai to The Warrior Family!
