Monday;

Good Morning Students It’s Red Ribbon Week this week, you may be asking what’s Red Ribbon and why should I care.  Here is why you should care.

***“VAPING EQUALS BRAIN POISONING”

How many kids do you know that Vape.?  DO you know that Vaping can cause serious damaging effects to your body.  It may seem cool now but in 3, 5, 10 years you will start to notice lifelong damaging effects.

So this week we want to bring awareness to the Harmful effects of Vaping.

Nicotine Addiction Isn’t Pretty | Bathroom | The Real Cost of Vapes    (VIDEO LINK)

-The tobacco industry uses fun flavors and tech devices to hook kids on nicotine. Why kids? A developing brain is easier to addict. It puts teens at risk for a lifetime of nicotine addiction, health problems and permanent brain changes.

-The U.S. Surgeon General has warned that any tobacco use by teens and young adults, including e-cigarettes, is unsafe. Nearly all e-cigarette products contain nicotine, which is the same addictive drug found in other tobacco products, including cigarettes and cigars. Unfortunately, the nicotine content information on e-cigarette packaging is often misleading or inaccurate.

Tuesday:

Good Morning our Red Ribbon Information for today is

-Have you come across unfamiliar chargers, coils, or batteries?

Is your teen spending more money than usual or making unexplained purchases?

ADDAMS FAMILY THE MUSICAL CASTLIST

Thank You!

A huge thank you to everyone who auditioned for The Addams Family! We had over 70 students
audition, and we were so impressed with the talent, energy, and courage you brought to the
process. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take everyone into the cast, but if you’re still
interested in being part of this production, there are many other ways to get involved—whether
through tech, props, costumes, or backstage work. We’d love to have you as part of the team!
For those cast as Ancestors: if you feel this role may not be the right fit or not worth your time,
please let me know as soon as possible so we can adjust accordingly.

We are so excited to create a marvelous production of The Addams Family! For everyone who
participates, whether on stage or behind the scenes, it’s going to be a fantastic experience full
of creativity, teamwork, and fun.

Thank you again for sharing your talents with us—we can’t wait to get started!

First Rehearsal Info

Our first rehearsal will be on Monday, August 25 at 3:00 PM in Room 301. At this rehearsal, you
will receive your scripts and music (bring a highlighter if you’d like to mark your part). You’ll
also be given a full rehearsal calendar, and we’ll talk about how to use Binderly to stay
organized.

If you haven’t yet turned in your signed Production Standards paper or your grades from last
quarter, please bring those Monday. This is also a great time to pay the $40 participation fee in
the Finance Office if you haven’t already—please bring your receipt with you to the meeting.

Many of you indicated interest in being student directors, dance captains, or helping with props
and other areas—we’ll also go over those opportunities at our first rehearsal.

We can’t wait to get started and dive into this spooky, spectacular show together!

Ms. Whitman, Terry Moore, Susan Baker
