This is the info for our leadership camp up in Logan on June 2nd – June 6th. We will be leaving after 12pm on the 2nd and will be home around 3pm on the 6th. Enter your info into the info sheet and go to the Waiver site with your parents before May 1st.

Our group color will be Blue.

FIRST DAY PICTURES
We will be taking school pictures right after you check in – between 9:30AM and 11:00AM.  Please make sure you’re  in our school colors. 

·         Your lip sync/dance battle song will be “Hot Wings – Rio“. The songs should all tie into the theme Embrace the Journeywith a heavy focus on resilience and determination as your students prepare to take on the upcoming school year! .

DANCE BATTLE RULES

  • Students may NOT perform any flips or throws without having at least one touch point to the ground or another student at all times.
    For example, a student may not perform a free front flip but can if two other students support the student performing the flip.
  • Beats and loops can be added to the track but the song must remain recognizable. You may NOT combine multiple tracks. Each school can pick one song only.
  • Every member of the student council must participate in some way in the dance (advisors/chaperones optional)
  • The dance must be no longer than 1 minute, 15 seconds.
  • No gang signs.
  • No swear words, references to drugs, alcohol, or sex whatsoever.
  • You can features props/costumes etc. All costumes must have a shirt and pants. All outfits or props must be deemed appropriate.

• No glitter and no confetti cannons whatsoever. Schools that break this rule will be DISQUALIFIED.

  • No sexually suggestive or inappropriate moves – Be comfortable doing this dance in front of your grandparents!
  • HAVE FUN!!

Any violations to these rules may result in disqualification from the dance battle!
