Hawaiian Leis

Dear Senior Parents,

Congratulations to you and your graduate! Over the years, it has become a fun tradition for Seniors to wear fresh Hawaiian leis at graduation with their caps and gowns. If you are interested, you can order leis from SCHS PTSA through your student’s account on https://secure4.myschoolfees.com/ or in the finance office at SCHS before May 15th. The cost is $20 if you pay at the office or $21 online. Proceeds from this fundraiser go toward PTSA programs at Snow Canyon High. Pre-ordered leis can be picked up the day before graduation at the school between 5 and 7pm, or at the Football field one hour before the ceremony.

 

*If ordering online login to https://secure4.myschoolfees.com/ choose “Graduation Lei” on the category list, select the style and number of leis you want and pay with a credit card. (Order my May 10. $21.00 each)

Grad Nite

This year the SCHS PTSA is hosting Grad Night on Tuesday, May 25th from 6:00-11:00 pm at the Dixie Convention Center located at 1835 Convention Center Drive in St George. The doors will close at 6:30 so don’t be late! Dinner will be served followed by music, games, and entertainment. 
 
Tickets are $50 and are being sold at the High School Finance Office and online through your PARENT Powerschool account now through May 18th. No tickets will be sold at the door so be sure to purchase your tickets before the 18th!. T-shirts will be handed out at graduation practice to seniors who have paid for Grad Night. T-shirts must be worn for entrance into grad night. Be sure to request your size by clicking Grad Night Shirt Order Form.

Dance Guidelines

Behavior & Dress Code for Dances

Snow Canyon High School sponsors multiple school dances throughout the year.  Conduct at all dances must conform to appropriate school behavior guidelines and the safe school policy. In addition, there is a specific dress code for all school dances.

The following information will outline the dress-code for all dances at SCHS.

Dress code for formal and semi-formal dances.

Formal and semi-formal dances are events where students are expected to wear more formal attire than other activities.

Ladies:

Are expected to wear special occasion clothing that meets the school dress code as well as the specific dance guidelines.  

Gentlemen:

Slacks, a buttoned dress shirt, a tie or bowtie for a semi-formal dance, add a jacket for a formal dance. Slacks and buttoned dress shirt must be worn at all time.

Wearing jeans, shorts, polo or t-shirts to a formal or semi-formal dance is not permitted.

  • Formal Dances: Home Coming, Junior Prom, and Senior Ball
  • Semi-Formal Dance: Preference
  • Non-Formal: Sadie’s, MORP, Fall Fest, Warrior Week, and any Stomp

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conference 

Wednesday, November 15

3:30 – 5:00: By Appointment Only          5:00 – 6:30 All Welcome

We look forward to hosting the 1st Semester Parent-Teacher Conferences. 

The first hour and a half, our teachers will be setting appointments with parents. The following hour and a half will be for drop-in visits. All teachers will remain in their own rooms. We ask that if a teacher did not set an appointment with you, please not arrive at the school until 5:00 p.m.
