Dear Snow Canyon High School Students and Parents, 

Snow Canyon High School will be administering the ACT test for all JUNIORS during the school day on  Thursday, March 23, 2023. This year the test is online. Testing room assignments will be posted outside of the counseling center 2 days prior to the test.

ACT TESTING 

Thursday, March 23, 2023 

For all JUNIORS 

Time: 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Arrive at 7:45 a.m. to find the assigned testing room

Sophomores and Seniors may not be in the building where the ACT is being administered.

Please remind your student to be prepared with the following:

  1. A photo ID
  2. A  calculator (there will be one online for them to use during testing as well), 
  3. A mouse for the Chromebook they will be using (if they want to use one)
    4. A  #2 pencil for the exam (we will provide scratch paper). Please do not use a mechanical pencil

**A Cell Phone may NOT be used as a calculator. Any Junior that arrives late will NOT be able to take the  ACT test administered by Snow Canyon High School. 

**CELL PHONES or SMART WATCHES are NOT ALLOWED during the testing time, 8:00 am -12:30 pm, even during break time. Students will forfeit their test if these items are seen or heard. (ACT rule)

** Students are not allowed to leave the building at any time until the testing is complete

In order to accommodate the ACT testing for Juniors, Snow Canyon High School will not have regularly scheduled classes. After the ACT is completed students may come to the school for extra teacher help.  Teachers will be available from 1:30 pm – 3:15 pm. 

The following is the schedule for March 23, 2023 

8:15 am – 12:30 pm –ACT Testing (Juniors)

1:30 pm – 3:15 pm –All Students (RTI) 

Buses will run at regular times. Study areas will be provided for the Sophomores and Seniors that arrive at school in the morning. Students may not go to areas of the school where the ACT testing is being administered.
